The Ukelele is tuned by tightening or loosening the strings using the tuning pegs or tuners located at the top of the ukelele. You can tune the strings however order you want to but the notes they need to be starting from the bottom to top is A-E-G-C. The strings are numbered one being the bottom most string and 4 being the top most string. If you are unsure where the tuners are you can visit the Ukelele Parts tab on the navigation bar. The Strings are numbered with string 4 being E, String 3 being G, string 2 being C, and string 1 being G. I you need a visual to know the strings to the notes their is a graphic below.

Now that you know what strings are what and what note to tune them to be the only things left for you to do is to tune your ukeklele. Using your right hand start plucking a strings individualy and with your left hand hold the tuner in between your finger and thumb and turn to tighten or loosen your string. To be able to tune your ukelele to the right pitch, you would want to use a tuner, a physical one that shows you what the note you are playing is. If you do not have a tuner you can always downlowd an app or you can just look up a ukelele tuning video. Pluck the string you want to tune while listening to a video and/or looking at a the physical tuner and try to match the two to be the same note.
