You know different chords but don’t know where to start. I have chosen some easy songs that I learned as a beginner and think that it’s a good start to practicing chords and strumming patterns. Just follow Along to the different chords and strumming pattern and you will be a ukelele pro! The most important thing in learning a new instrument is practice, practice, practice.
To play a song you just have to ply the chord located above the lyrics. You will play the strumming pattern along with the chord above untill the chord above changes. For example in the first song, you will hold down the string that create the "C" chord down with your left hand and strum down-down-up-down-down with your right. That chord and strumming patter is the diration of the words "F is for friends" then you will change to the "F" chord to play "who do stuff together" and so on. You will still play the stumming patter at the end of a line, unless instructed to strum once, where you will do one strum downwards.
