Canaries Baseball Game

An independent professional baseball games at the “birdcage”.

Luverne Drive In

In Luverne, Minnesota not far from Sioux Falls. They have a retro-style drive in theater. Shows start at dusk, and you can buy food and drinks inside.

Great Plains Zoo

Visit over 1,000 animals! At The Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls, SD.

Sioux Empire Fair

Enjoy rides and fair food at the Sioux Empire Fair. From July 31st through August 8th, 2026. South Dakotas largest fair, with carnival rides, national concerts, rodeo, and agricultural shows.

Husets Speedway

Just outside of Sioux Falls in Brandon, SD. Husets Speedway hosts sprint car races weekly.

The Outdoor Campus

You want to know how to kayak, fish, or do archery. This nature park offers free classes. It is located in the Sertoma Park.

Wild Water West

It is the largest waterpark in the state. They have a swim up bar, waterslides, wave pool, lazy river, and go-karts. Sioux Falls has a bunch of local pools or an aquatic center.

Pickleball Courts

You can play indoor or outdoor at any of the courts in Sioux Falls.

Catfish Bay Show

Family friendly outdoor entertainment for skiers showcasing tricks and talents.

Fishing

Go get your fishing license and find a spot to go fishing. Like the Family Park a pond with trout, bass, and panfish. Covell Lake by The Outdoor Campus, it has easy access and shore fishing. There are lots of different places to go.
