The Humanum are a race of hominids unlike the natives of Edenson. Bearing smooth, leathery skin with patches of hair and comparatively barren of features. As implied, the Humanum didn't always call Edenson home. They hailed from Mundus Ignis Manes.

Before the planet was plunged into a seemingly eternal age of anarchy, Mundus was a world of Technology and wonderful inventions. Skyscrapers that pierced the stars, laser weaponry, personal stemcell grown replacement organs, advanced heads-up displays in their helms. Extremely light and protective armor called "Kevlar" or "Clothplate."

A pity then that such a people was lead by a shadowy cabal of "presidents." People oft disappearing when they got too close to the truth. Another problem that plagued Mundus was the illegalization of religion.

The founders of "The Ricci Dynasty" did this in an attempt to wrestle control of humanity's fate from the gods. And so, the dark gods cursed Mundus with an aura of Chaos. One that would keep Mundus disunified for eternity.

The End of Civil life on Mundus came with an event called "The Crisis of the First Century." A thermonuclear exchange that tarnished the land forever. However, there was a measure to ensure humanity's survival. Transdimensional portals were built. Initially as a source of exploration, but in the face of nuclear armageddon, they were the last hope of the Humanum. They were divided into three groups.

Humanity was, at first, very hostile to its new neighbors. Under the last of the Ricci line, Slave King Tiberius. Eventually, a Rebellion in Igytius led to the founding of a Republic called "Concilium Principale Hominis" or "Sovereign Council of Man." Upon the defeat and execution of Tiberius, there was peace on Edenson for a time.

Aurelia and THE CATACLYSM

When the Draekile were first defeated by the Humanum, they were NOT treated well. When the Flandereich rose and defeated the C.P.H., the Draekile in turn did NOT treat the Humanum well either. Enslaving them, as well as eradicating their culture, for four centuries. Marca Aurelia was known as Boudica Deuscale before her rise. An Heir to the dynasty of the Reichskommissariat Deuscale, in the Red Peninsula.

However, she discovered her heritage and rebelled. Reinstating Humanum self-actualization under her Deutinium. But Aurelia's heart had been hardened by Hatred. Her newfound Humanum values, perverted by ideas of revenge for four centuries of Humanum humiliation. As such, she yearned for a world where the Dragon did not exist. Where those who bore scales would have no hope under her SILVER SUN.

AAnd so she began a genocidal campaign against the Großerdraekisch Reich. However, Blinded by her hatred, she did not realize that the Draekile had summoned a finger of the dark god, Ma’Runs Fa'Ran to puncture a hole into the mantle of Edenso.
