The medical drama series focuses on a group of young doctors at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital, who began their careers at the facility as interns. One of the young doctors and the show's namesake, Meredith Grey, is the daughter of a famous surgeon. Grey struggles to maintain relationships with her colleagues, particularly the hospital's one-time chief of surgery, Richard Webber, due to a pre-existing relationship between them - Webber and Meredith's mother had a personal relationship when Meredith was young.
This is a very well put together show. It follows a clear path and structure. You don’t have insane plot holes and character developments happening out of nowhere which can often be seen in long run series. But at the same time, it is a long running show. After season 16, you only have 3 of the characters the show started with. When I watched this, there were 19 seasons. I watched all of them but after season 16, it didn’t feel like the same show. I haven’t watched any of the newer seasons because of this. I think that they either should’ve ended the show after season 16 or created a spinoff with the new interns.
