Overview

Japan’s desire for World Cup glory leads the Japanese Football Association to launch a new rigorous training program to find the national team’s next striker. Three hundred high school players are pitted against each other for the position, but only one will come out on top. Who among them will be the striker to usher in a new era of Japanese soccer?

My thoughts

This show depended completely on characters dynamics, I didn’t personally like the idea of the show. I do like that the characters were diverse and didn’t all act the same. The animation of the second season was just like everyone said, it was… bad. I was disappointed because I loved the first season. However, once again the characters were fun! This show was held together by hopes and hot glue, looking forward to the next season [&] hoping it has better animation.
