I created this drawing using one of my main characters that I have created, a character named Luna. I wanted to capture an important moment in the characters story, so I really wanted to figure out how to make sure this looked right. I used a reference for the pose and help with the the wings, and figured out how to effect both the character and the background in a way so that it would give the impression that she was falling. It really helped me develop my perspective and how to adjust things so it would match the same perspective.

I drew this during a hard day I was having in high school. It started as a sketch of just the head shape and grew into a full creature over time. It helped me capture and imagine what I thought that the anxiety I face looks like. I fully drew the pose, shape of the creature, and figured out the perspective of how it was positioned. This was very helpful in helping me grow my skill in drawing characters that aren't necessarily human shaped, and also helped me get more comfortable in drawing different genres.

For this I wanted to make a wholesome drawing of two characters, but I didn't have a lot of experience drawing more than one person in a drawing. It was hard to figure out poses for both and how to manage both designs. When I did figure out both, I was able to put together the coloring, shading, and background. But this helped me manage how to work on things with different and sometimes clashing designs.
